Animal Jam Repeats and Color Scheme

Animal Jam allows young players to customize their animal avatars using a wide variety of pattern options. With that in mind, I created this color scheme and surface repeats for use on various Animal Jam projects and products.

They were intended to be bright and inviting and to capture the tribal theming of Animal Jam. These patterned solids are meant to add a subtle texture without overwhelming a design, so the contrast was kept to a minimum.

The main pattern has been used widely on many products including packaging, stationery, textiles, toys, online branding, and game icons. Shown in situ in the last image on packaging and products created by licensers.
